Is my data secure?
Each company's data is isolated in its own tenant at the database level — row-level security means one company can never read another's records, even by mistake. Payments run through Stripe; we never see or store card numbers. Signed contracts keep the signer's name, timestamp and IP as evidence. We don't sell data and we don't use your business data to train AI models. Privacy policy.
How fast do I actually get paid?
When a customer pays by card through a pay link, Stripe pays out to your connected bank account. After your first payout clears, subsequent payouts typically arrive in 2–3 business days. Cash and check payments you record in the CRM don't go through Stripe at all.
Can I import my existing customers and subcontractors?
Yes. Send us your customer list and your subcontractor list (a spreadsheet or export from whatever you use now) and we load them during onboarding at no charge; self-serve CSV import is on the roadmap. Subs can also register themselves through an invite link, which is how most builders end up doing it.
What happens if I outgrow the free Field edition?
Nothing breaks — Field edition has no user or record limits. If you start running projects with subs and need bids, COI tracking and schedules, upgrade to Builder edition from Company Profile → Billing. Your data comes with you; it's the same system.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. It's a web app that works in any modern browser and can be added to your home screen. Crews never need to log in: they get a link by text or email to upload photos to the job.
Can my customers sign contracts on their phone?
That's the normal way. They get an email with a Review & Sign button, read the scope and terms, type or draw their signature, and you get a notification plus a signed PDF on the customer's record.
Do emails come from my address or yours?
Connect your Gmail and every quote, contract, invoice and receipt sends from your address with your logo on the PDF. Without Gmail connected, they send from our system address with your company name.
I have salespeople. Does it track commission?
Yes. Set a commission per job or per quote; it shows on the job alongside profit and rolls up in reports.
Can multiple people use it?
Yes, both editions. Invite teammates from Company Profile → Team. Builder edition adds roles so office staff, PMs and superintendents see what they need.
